TYR Hurricane Freak of Nature Contest Winner Neil H. wins an entry to the Ironman U.S. Championship
TYR is excited to announce and congratulate Neil H. on winning a slot in the Ironman U.S. Championship 2012 in N.Y. Neil won phase one of The TYR Hurricane Freak of Nature, Ironman New York 2012 Contest with his caption "Ahhh - The Hudson tasted better than I expected."
TYR launched and announced an exclusive contest for Hurricane Freak of Nature owners. A two-part contest running from November 15, 2011 through May, 31, 2012, the first entry period ended on January 31, 2012. The best entry was judged based on three criteria: Originality, Humor and Spirit of Triathlon.
After registering their “Freak” on TYR.com, customers were then prompted to an online caption contest. Entrants had to supply a winning caption to an image of TYR’s Andy Potts in his Hurricane Freak of Nature wetsuit.
Grand Prize winners become eligible for a slot in the sold out Ironman U.S. Championship in New York on August 11, 2012. Congrats to all that entered. We look forward to seeing Neil H. and all of our fans at the Ironman U.S. Championship in N.Y. in August.
